About Miss Vietnam World

Miss Vietnam World is a beauty pageant serving as a forum to showcase the beauty of Vietnamese women living around the world.

The first pageant was held in 2007 and received positive feedback from the public. The pageant was recognized as one of the few high–quality beauty pageants  in Vietnam, that expressed respect for beauty and established a connection among Vietnamese people living around the world. The title of Miss Vietnam World 2007 was awarded to Ngo Phuong Lan, a graduate of Genéve University in Switzerland. She made a strong impression on both the local and international audience as a talented woman possessing beauty, intelligence and compassion.

In 2010, the Organizing Committee  for the second pagaent includes Vietnam Television and Vinpearlland  Tourism JS Company. The pre-jugding and semifinals  are scheduled to take place from 10/6/2010 to 25/7/2010 in Vietnam and other countries including the United States, United Kingdom, Russia, and South Korea. The final pageant will be held from 10/8/2010 to 21/8/2010 at Vinpearl Land in Nha Trang.
